The zootechnics is the art of maintaining and improving animals under domestication that includes breeding, genetics, nutrition, and housing : the technology of animal husbandry. In other meaning, zootechnics is the Science that studies the potentialities of captive and domestic animals, with the objective of rationally using them for obtaining food and for other purposes for human beings, in a sustainable and economic way.
