General Introduction
1. Guide Description
1.1. This module introduces students to the scientific study of
language.
1.2. It provides a foundation in the main branches of linguistics.
1.3. The course develops awareness of how human language works at different
levels of analysis.
1.4. Students will gain both conceptual knowledge and practical skills in
linguistic analysis.
